A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Life has taught me that beauty and difficulty can exist at the same time.
I’m still raising seven children, I studied political science, and I’ve always loved travelling and discovering different places and people. I grew up in a family with strong traditional values, where responsibility and doing things properly mattered. Much of that stayed with me, but over time I also learned to listen to my own voice and make room for the things I deeply wanted.
Art was one of them.
There have been wonderful periods in my life and some very difficult ones. I try to enjoy the good moments when they are here, and when life gets hard, to keep going through it, even when I can’t yet see what comes next.
Through all of it, I still believe in God, in goodness, in beauty, and in the possibility of something good waiting around the next corner.
ABOUT MY ART
My work has taken a few different directions over the years. The more I painted, the more I found myself drawn to Abstract Expressionism... to its emotion, its openness, and the fact that a painting doesn’t have to explain everything.
I don’t paint to impress. I paint to express - and to help others reconnect with their inner world.
I love when a painting stays in your mind after you’ve walked away from it. There has to be something there... character, a certain energy, something that makes you want to look again.
Colour matters enormously to me, but so do composition and harmony. I work freely, yet I still need that moment when everything comes together and nothing feels out of place.
One of the things I value most about abstract art is that I can put something of myself into a painting without deciding what you should see in it.
Someone else may find something completely different , like a memory, a feeling, a place, or simply colours and forms they keep coming back to.
That part belongs to them.
